Julie is a documentary style based in West Marin, California. Falling in love with the Nikon F2 Photomic her father lent her, she has chased light, stories and aesthetics ever since. 

With a strong focus on film photography, she thinks it has always given her a sense of intentional timelessness.

She describes her work as soft and often subtly experimental. Her approach is observational and unobstrusive. She greatly appreciates the candid and the imperfect. Her hope is to capture your magic, the way it perfectly shows up in life.

She is inspired by the landscapes and light of Northern California and is also available for travel.
